Barbara McKeown is the author of If Looks Could Kill. In addition to writing, she enjoys spending time keeping fit and doing lots of reading.

Originally a Londoner, she worked for nearly ten years as scriptwriter/producer in regional TV, an experience which helped to flesh out the background to Connie’s world in IF LOOKS COULD KILL. She’s also been a magazine subeditor, a guide book researcher, a secondary school English teacher and mum to three lively children, now grown and flown. These days, she lives in Norfolk, England and leads a quiet scribbler’s life with her husband Paul and cat Bruno. She hopes IF LOOKS COULD KILL will be first in a Norfolk investigative adventure series like the Ellie Griffiths mysteries.
